Chalet High Activity Center

Very clean Chalet! And spacious. Dining room window did not lock. There was an indoor pool, but it Closed at 5 or 6pm. There was an outside pool right next door that thr brochure Said we had access to. When we went to ask the woman there, she LITERALLY put her nose in the air and said," If you can not afford to belong to our club, we do not allow your class of people in our pool" Those were her EXACT WORDS! I wish I had recorded them! I believe that was discrimination! I would very much like the POWERS THAT BE at Chalet High to pass this on to the CEO of that company! We thanked her for the information, and kindly turned and left. That's not how we treat people? And we did not say any thing else to this women who must carry a heavy heart.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean and all of the staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would have given 5 stars, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Softer mattresses would have been much better. There was plenty of room to be comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Definitely plan your food if you go because there isn't much near the chalet. Most places are a 30 - 45 minute drive away. Overall, we loved it and will probably go back!

The condo was very clean and relaxing. The views are spectacular. The water pressure is so good. I feel better taking a shower here than at home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There is a washer and dryer in the condo. This was a girls weekend trip and we are coming back with our spouses in the summer time and get a pedestal house!

A bit out of the way but that's the goal to get away. Lovely golf course to look at and right from our condo. Little aged but they have updated and the main buildings are updated looking nice. Mountain bikes having fun riding the lifts up the mountain and riding down, nice place to wash bikes when done.

Amazing! Christie at check-in was stellar! Made it a great stay for our family. Highly recommend Chalet High!

This resort offered a charmingly classic experience with a few hints of its age. While some aspects of the resort were a bit dated, it added to the overall character and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our room was clean and spacious, though perhaps could benefit from some minor updates. The grounds were beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, they had a lovely pool area. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The overall experience was positive and we'd consider returning for another visit.

Awesome getaway! It's located near Virginia and West Virginia state line. Please read the email that is sent to you when you book your stay. They tell you the best route for entering the resort. Google GPS can take you on a less than desirable route, depending on your start point. Lots of activities! Very good price for your stay!

It was nice and quiet, but it was 30 minutes for anywhere and full of deer all over. This place would be great for someone who wanted peace and quiet. Also, the pool for the resort closed at 5 pm, making it impossible from a long day out to get in the pool.
